Trzeci studyjny album Eda Sheerana, który nosi tytuł Divide, w pierwszym tygodniu rozszedł się w łącznym nakładzie 672 tys. kopii (z czego 62% to fizyczna sprzedaż). Jest to najlepiej sprzedający się krążek wydany przez mężczyznę w notowaniu UK Charts. Tym samym brytyjski wokalista zapisał się w historii jako trzeci artysta, który odnotował tak dużą sprzedaż. Przypomnijmy, że na pierwszym miejscu znajduje się Adele z 25 (800 tys. kopii) a na drugim Oasis’ – Be Here Now (692 tys. kopii). Wydawnictwo Divide pokrył się już podwójną platyną w rodzimym kraju piosenkarza.
