Nagrody Grammy od lat wzbudzają wiele emocji. We wtorek 23 listopada, o godzinie 18:00 rozpoczęła się transmisja ogłoszenia nominacji do przyszłorocznej edycji nagrody. Listy odczytywane były m.in. przez członków zespołu Måneskin, komika Nate’a Bargatze’a, oraz członków The Recording Academy – dyrektora generalnego Harvey’a Masona Jr. i przewodniczącą Rady Tammy Hurt.
Największą ilość nominacji uzyskał Jon Batiste. Duże szanse na wygraną mają także Justin Bieber i Doja Cat (po osiem nominacji), Billie Eilish i Olivia Ridrigo (po 7 nominacji). Duży sukces osiągnęli także Lady Gaga i Tony Bennett z sześcioma nominacjami, Lil Nas X z pięcioma, Kanye West z czterema, zespoły AC/DC i Foo Fighters z trzema.
