Stało się coś, czego oczekiwali wszyscy. W tym roku 50-lecie obchodzi ósmy krążek zespołu The Beatles – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Z tej okazji, w ubiegłym tygodniu do sprzedaży trafiła specjalna wersja płyty, która szturmem zawładnęła całą Wielką Brytanią i powróciła na miejsce #1. Oprócz tego Despacito wciąż utrzymuje się na szczycie i ustanawia nowy rekord. Rita Ora debiutuje w TOP20.

Dokładnie 26 maja 1967 r. w ręce fanów została oddana ósma płyta legendarnego zespołu The Beatles – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Z okazji 50-lecia w Liverpoolu powstał specjalny sklep poświęcony tylko tej płycie oraz do sprzedaży trafiła specjalna, rocznicowa wersja CD oraz winyl. Krążek rozszedł się w łącznym nakładzie 37 tys. kopii, co w zupełności wystarczyło do tego, żeby Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band powróciło na miejsce #1. Płyta spędziła 28 tygodni na szczycie notowania i zajmuje pozycją #3 w zestawieniu najlepiej sprzedających się wydawnictw w Wielkiej Brytanii. Przed The Beatles znaleźli się: Queen – Greatest Hits i Abba – Gold (5.2 miliona kopii w UK).

Oprócz tego nowa płyta The Charlatans debiutuje na miejscu #4 – jest to dziesiąty krążek zespołu, który uplasował się w TOP10.
