UK Charts: Liderzy bez zmian, wykonawcy z Brit Awards umacniają swoje pozycje

Nowe notowanie UK Charts nie przynosi kolosalnych zmian. W porównaniu z poprzednim tygodniem widoczne jest jedynie umocnienie się wykonawców, którzy wystąpili podczas gali Brit Awards. No, może z jednym małym wyjątkiem, trudno wytłumaczalnym.

UK ALBUMS CHART

Nie da się ukryć, że największy wpływ na obecne notowanie miała środowa gala Brit Awards. Większość TOP3 trzymały swoje pozycje. Adele, tak jak na rozdaniu nagród bierze wszystko, co mogła wziąć. Tym samym jest to już ogółem jej dziewiąty tydzień na szczycie z płytą 25. Jedyną nowością i jednocześnie najwyżej notowanym albumem jest Phase od Jacka Garratta, laureata Nagrody Krytyków. Lekki spadek notuje przez to Justin Bieber (Najlepszy Międzynarodowy Artysta Roku), a James Bay (Najlepszy Brytyjski Wokalista Roku) po miesiącu powraca do TOP10. Z resztą, prawie wszyscy artyści z pierwszej dziesiątki wystąpili na Brit Awards. Wyjątkiem są David Bowie (którego godnie zastąpiła Lorde) oraz Sia, która w ogóle nie pojawiła się na gali. Wspomniana Australijka notuje także dobry wynik z poprzednim albumem 1000 Forms Of Fear, który ponownie pojawia się w TOP20, po 17-oczkowym awansie.

UK SINGLES CHART

 

Podobnie jak na liście albumowej, również i tutaj nie zmienia się pozycja lidera. Duński zespół Lukas Graham po raz trzeci tydzień z rzędu z 7 Years pojawia się na szczycie zestawienia. Singiel ten osiąga drugi najlepszy wynik od chwili wydania go (131 tysięcy, w tym 5 350 000 streaming). Mało tego, utwór był najczęściej odtwarzany w tym tygodniu w sieci. To więc dobry grunt dla innej kompozycji zespołu, bowiem Mama Said pojawia się na miejscu #93.

Po premierze klipu w poniedziałek oraz występie na środowej gali Rihanna wraz z Drake’m awansują o oczko w górę z Work. Czy za tydzień Barbadoska osiągnie szczyt? Bardzo możliwe, że się tak stanie, biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że w USA kawałek jest już na szczycie Billboardu. Powody do radości mają także Coldplay, Adele, Major Lazer, twenty one pilots oraz Justin Bieber. Wszyscy Ci pojawili się chociaż raz na ekranach telewizora, czego efektem są wzrosty sprzedaży singli. W przypadku Rihanny, Major Lazer czy Adele są to tzw. nowe peaki, co oznacza, że utwory, o których mowa dotychczas nie pojawiały się na liście wyżej. Wiadomo, że najlepiej sobie radzą kawałki wykonywane na gali. Jedyną, raczej ciężko wytłumaczalną rzeczą jest awans Mike Posnera o 31 miejsc…
