UK Charts: Siódmy tydzień Adele na szczycie notowania, ogromny awans Bryana Adamsa. Justin Bieber dominuje top najlepiej sprzedających się singli

Kolejny tydzień – kolejne notowanie. Zaskoczeń wielu nie ma. TOP 3 albumów utrzymało się dokładnie takie samo jakie mieliśmy okazję oglądać poprzednim razem. Za to ciekawsze rzeczy dzieją się w zestawieniu najlepiej sprzedających się singli. Justin Bieber dominuje. Bezwzględnie.

 

UK ALBUMS CHART

Tak jak się spodziewano – Adele po raz siódmy zdominowała całe zestawienie albumem 25. Warto jednak zaznaczyć, że różnica między pierwszym miejscem, a miejscem drugim nie była wielka. Elvis Presley przegrał z Adele o włos – dosłownie różnicą 3 300 sprzedanych kopii. Związane było to z 81. rocznicą urodzin króla.

Niewiele działo się w tym tygodniu na liście. Delikatny wzrost z miejsca #10 na miejsce #5 zaliczył album Jamesa Bay’a. Oprócz tego wydawnictwo Communion od Years & Years uplasował się cztery oczka wyżej niż w tamtym tygodniu. Dodatkowo los łaskawy był dla „spadkowiczów”, bowiem żaden album w TOP20 nie zanotował drastycznego obniżenia swojej lokaty.

Do dwudziestki niespodziewanie wdarł się Bryan Adams ze składanką swoich największych hitów. Album The Best Of Me zanotował ogromny skok o 108 oczek, by ostatecznie zameldować się na pozycji #20. A wszystko to przez sylwestrowy koncert dla BBC, jaki dał muzyk. Tym samym przypomniał o sobie słuchaczom, co zaowocowało zwiększeniem sprzedaży wydawnictw sygnowanych jego nazwiskiem.

Dominacja Justina Biebera. Takim określeniem można nazwać to, co działo się przez ostatni tydzień na liście sprzedaży singli w Wielkiej Brytanii. Ten młody Kanadyjczyk umieścił w TOP3… trzy utwory, a zatem całe podium należy do niego. Uczynił to za sprawą kompozycji, odpowiednio: Love Yourself (które w tamtym tygodniu również znalazło się na szczycie notowania), Sorry (miejsce drugie zeszłego tygodnia) oraz What Do You Mean, które uzyskując awans z czwartego miejsca zagwarantowało Justinowi monopol na pierwszą trójkę notowania.

Ogromny wzrost zaliczyła także piosenka Stitches autorstwa Shawn’a Mendesa. Uplasowała się na miejscu #4 podnosząc się z miejsca #12. Ponownie do TOP20 na miejsce #13 wkroczył utwór Ace Of Spades brytyjskiego zespołu Motörhead. Niewątpliwie na ten wynik miały wpływ smutne wieści o śmierci wokalisty zespołu – Lemmy’go Kilmistera.

W tym tygodniu notowanie zamyka The Weeknd, który umieścił swoje dwa utwory na miejscu #19 (Can’t Feel My Face) oraz #20 (The Hills).
