UK Charts: „Despacito”Luisa Fonsi i „Divide” Eda Sheerana ponownie królują

To musiało się stać. Ed Sheeran po dwóch tygodniach przerwy ponownie powrócił na szczyt notowania albumów i tym samym zablokował nowe wydawnictwo muzyczne od zespołu Radiohead. Oprócz tego uwielbianie przez Brytyjczyków „Despacito” pokonało charytatywny singiel „Bridge Over Troubled Water” i wspięło się na miejsce #1 UK Singles Charts.

Najnowsza płyta Eda Sheerana – Divide zrobiła sobie dwa tygodnie przerwy od miejsca #1, tylko po to, żeby dziś powrócić z podwójną siłą na szczyt notowania. Artysta ten sukces zawdzięcza występowi na Glastonbury, na którym pojawił się także zespół Radiohead, którego płyta OK Computer zadebiutowała oczko niżej. Gorące wydawnictwo od Imagine Dragons ląduje na pozycji #3 i jest to trzeci krążek artystów, który znalazł się w TOP5 UK Albums Chart.

Powód do dumy ma również zespół Royal Blood, którego wydana tydzień temu płyta spadła tylko o 3 pozycje w dół – w tym notowaniu #4, a debiutancki album powrócił do TOP20 na miejsce #19.

Co ciekawe płyta Prince & The Revolution – Purple Rain – OST powróciła spoza TOP100 na oczko #7.

Dla porównania Bridge Over Troubled Water odnotował stream w ilości 2 miliona razy i czystą sprzedaż na poziomie 53 tys. kopii.
