UK Charts: „25” od Adele po raz jedenasty na szczycie albumów, pierwszy numer #1 Mike’a Posnera

Adele już kolejny tydzień udowadnia, że bez streamingu można osiągnąć sukces komercyjny. Wyniki sprzedaży cyfrowej i fizycznej ponownie pozwala krążkowi „25” , by pojawić się na szczycie albumowym. Za to na liście singli małe trzęsienie Ziemi: 7 Years traci swój numer #1 na rzecz I Took A Pill In Ibiza Mike’a Posnera.

UK ALBUMS CHART

W tym tygodniu nie mogło być inaczej. Brytyjska wokalistka Adele ponownie osiąga szczyt wraz z płytą 25. To już drugi tydzień z rzędu, a jedenasty w ogóle od czasu, kiedy album ujrzał światło dzienne. Szczebel niżej pojawia się Justin Bieber z Purpose. Różnica między Kanadyjczykiem, a Brytyjką to nieco ponad 10 000 kopii. Biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że 25 nie został udostępniony w streamingu jest to wynik do pozazdroszczenia. Bieber niewątpliwie ma pecha, gdyż od listopada (czyli od momentu pojawienia się Purpose) nie może powtórzyć sukcesu osiągniętego z Believe, gdyż to właśnie album z 2012 roku jest jedynym, który pojawił się na szczycie UK Charts. Podium zamyka Jess Glynne z I Cry When I Laugh.

W dalszej części TOP20 dominują wzrosty, przeplatane albumami, które utrzymały pozycje sprzed tygodnia bądź też zupełnie nowe pozycje. Najwyżej notowaną nowością w minionym tygodniu jest propozycja amerykańskiej grupy grającej metalcore. Incarnate od Killswitch Engage zamyka pierwszą dziesiątkę UK Charts. Wejście do pierwszej dwudziestki zapewniło sobie twenty one pilots. Blurryface pojawia się na #17. Mocne spadki – aż o 11 miejsc – notują Elvis Presley oraz Kano, którego Made In The Manor pojawiło się w zeszłym tygodniu.

Największym awansem w TOP100 może pochwalić się formacja Walking On Cars. Ich debiutancki album, Everything This Way pojawia się na #39 i jest to skok o 59 oczka.

UK SINGLES CHART

To niewątpliwie niespodzianka minionego tygodnia, aczkolwiek było to oczekiwane. Po pięciu tygodniach duńska formacja Lukas Graham musiało oddać singlowy szczyt UK Charts na rzecz Mike’a Posnera, a właściwie remixowi do piosenki I Took A Pill In Ibiza, którego promocja została ostatnio wzbogacona o teledysk. Tu jednak przegrana była o włos – różnica to zaledwie 261 sztuk. Na pocieszenie Duńczykom pozostał szczyt streamingu. 7 Years w minionym tygodniu odtworzono 4 miliony razy.

Duży awans notuje także propozycja od Fifth Harmony. Work From Home po raz pierwszy pojawia się w pierwszej dziesiątce zestawienia. Debiut z pierwszym singlem z nadchodzącej płyty zalicza Ariana Grande. Na wynik Dangerous Woman (pojawia się na #17) miał zapewne wpływ amerykański program Saturday Night Live, gdzie ostatnio pełniła rolę współprowadzącej. Nieźle radzi sobie również Selena Gomez, której Hands To Myself awansował o 11 oczek, finalnie pojawiając się na #21. Większy wzrost zainteresowania w tym tygodniu odnotowało jednak Cake By The Ocean od DNCE, które po raz pierwszy pojawia się w TOP40 (awans o 16 oczek, w tym tygodniu na #26).
